Introduction to Ballet
Little or no experience in classical dance? Discover the universe of a ballet class, learn all the useful vocabulary and familiarize yourself with basic movements.
Unique and enriching adult ballet classes for the heart and soul. Tailored to individual students needs and capabilities. Classes consist of classical ballet barre and centre work, with a focus on basic technique and musicality.
A conditioning class set at the ballet barre working to build core strength, body awareness and flexibility in a fun and encouraging environment.
Working with intermediate modern dance vocabulary, students will work with technical exercises designed to challenge the mind and body. Elements will include floor work and across-the-floor phrases that focus on full body release and engagement.
Taught by our Artistic Director; Andrea Palmer (formerly of Les Grands Ballets; Les Studios), this invigorating class will introduce students to the basics of jazz dance technique and choreography.
Salsa is a popular form of social dance origination from Cuban folk dances. Come on out and learn some new moves with or without a partner!
Street (Urban) Jazz
Blending different methods of hip-hop, jazz funk, break, street dance and more in a fun and care-free dance class focused on learning basic choreography.
