Are you a former dancer who is longing to dance again? Did you dream of dancing and never have the chance to try? Our dance classes for adults are for you! Let our experienced faculty help you build stamina, endurance and confidence. Classes will progress at a rate that allows you to grow in strength and refine your technique, with movement and combinations becoming more complex over the session. We welcome all levels — from absolute beginners to those who’ve earned their years of experience. Rediscover your passion for dance.
Unique and enriching adult ballet classes for the heart and soul. Tailored to individual students needs and capabilities. Classes consist of classical ballet barre and center work, with a focus on basic technique and musicality.Lunch hour drop in ballet classes are offered on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Classical Repertoire is offered Wednesday evenings from 6:00-7:00 pm.
Introduction to Ballet
Little or no experience in classical dance? Discover the universe of a ballet class, learn all the useful vocabulary and familiarize yourself with basic movements. (Wednesdays, 7:00-8:00 pm)
Beginner to Intermediate level ballet class. ( Mondays, 7:00-8:30 pm)
A fun new fitness class incorporating ballet, contemporary and high intensity fitness training to give you the best possible results.(Tuesdays 6:00-7:00 pm).
Working with intermediate modern dance vocabulary, students will work with technical exercises designed to challenge the mind and body. Elements will include floor work
& across-the-floor phrases that focus on full body release and engagement. (Mondays, 6:00-7:00 pm)
Blending different methods of hip-hop, jazz funk, break, street dance and more in a fun and care-free dance class focused on learning basic choreography. (Mondays, 7:00-8:00 pm)
A conditioning class set at the ballet barre working to build core strength, body awareness and flexibility in a fun and encouraging environment.
( Tuesdays, 6:00-7:00 pm).
Salsa classes (Beginner;Mondays 8:00-9:00 pm,$110.00 per couple / Intermediate; Fridays 7:00 pm-8:30 pm. $160.00 per couple).
Come on out and learn some new moves (with or without a partner)!
In this joyful class designed for beginner and intermediate dancers, we will delight in moving our bodies and grounding ourselves in an array of multicultural beats, from Latin to African, while building confidence through floor work and easy-to-follow choreography designed to work the brain and body. This class is danced in bare feet (foot undies optional) and in floor length Spanish-style skirts (provided).
Irish Stepdance is a style of performance dance with its roots in traditional Irish dance. It is generally characterized by a stiff upper body and quick and precise movements of the feet. It can be performed solo or in groups. ( Tuesdays 5:00- 6:00 pm)
High aerobic, calorie burning workout to Latin beats. (Mondays, 8:00-9:00 pm ).
A bold new direction in modern choreography that combines energy of hip-hop, style of jazz-funk, jazz technique and glamour of burlesque.(Wednesdays 7:00-8:30pm)
